Meet Shelby Spillar, Owner of Tupelo
Shelby is the lead designer and owner of Tupelo Floral Company, a design studio in lovely Charlottesville, Virginia. Inspired by her own father-daughter dance to Van Morrison’s forever classic “Tupelo Honey,” Shelby created Tupelo to design event florals with an enduring elegance. She has worked as a full-time designer as well as a freelancer for industry leaders across the central Virginia and DC areas since 2016.

Tupelo Floral offers custom designs that are thoughtfully curated just for your event — making sure everything we create is an expression of you.

We generally book full-service clients six to 12 months in advance of your event date. Our team is ideally invited into the design process early, after you book your venue and estimate your guest count.

Because we want your event to be fully reflective of your own style, tastes and vision, we do not offer packages or standardized pricing. Full-service floral design begins at $6,500.
